Drum Return Terms and Conditions

Reka Cables’ Drum Return Terms and Conditions as of 1 February 2026

  1. Reka Kaapeli Oy accepts only standard K‑drums marked with the Reka by Nexans logo, the *Nexans logo and/or other official Reka identification, as well as pallets marked with EUR.
    Reka Kaapeli Oy will charge a recycling fee of 100 € / drum (VAT 0%) for all other drum types, invoiced together with the drum credit as a separate charge. *Applies only to drums sold by Nexans in Finland.
  2. If the drum still contains cable upon return, a cable removal and disposal fee of 99 € / drum will be charged.
  3. Drum return for Reka drums must be carried out via the Ultracker system. Other return methods will not be processed. The returner must register as an Ultracker user before returning drums.
  4. Drums sold by Nexans in Finland must be returned using a separate Nexans drum return slip.
  5. The returner is responsible for ensuring that the drums can be linked to the submitted return notification (Ultracker software, Nexans drum return form).
  6. Reka Kaapeli Oy credits only intact and repairable drums and pallets according to the valid price list.
  7. Claims related to drums must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the delivery.
  8. Credits can only be granted to a registered company. The returner is responsible for ensuring that their information—including bank account details—is up to date.
  9. Before credit payment, the recipient must provide official bank confirmation of account ownership.
  10. The returner is responsible for transportation costs to the return point. Contact details can be found under the drum return points section.
    The returner must also ensure that the load is safe to unload.
  11. When credit invoices are paid to customers, the payment term is 30 days net.
  12. Claims related to drum returns must be submitted within 7 days after the drums have been processed at Reka Kaapeli Oy’s return centre.

  13. Reka Kaapeli Oy is not responsible for the accuracy of the credit if the return terms have not been followed.
