Ultracker 4.1.15 update brings significant improvements to drum management and the claims process

The latest version of Ultracker, 4.1.15, introduces several long-awaited improvements that make drum returns and claim handling easier. The update focuses on a smoother user experience and a more transparent process for all parties involved.

Smoother drum returns

With the update, making drum returns has become significantly simpler. The mobile app now enables users to take possession of drums and move them from the archive back to active status automatically during the return process, without any separate actions. Drums can be added to a return either by scanning the QR code with the mobile app or by entering the reel number manually in the application. This reduces work steps and speeds up the return process in the field.

Drum claims now handled directly in Ultracker

Another significant improvement is the introduction of drum claims directly in Ultracker. The new feature is available in both the mobile and web versions, making it flexible to submit claims regardless of time or location.

A claim can be submitted within 7 days of receiving the drums, in line with the applicable claim period defined in the terms. Reka Cables will process and record claim decisions directly in Ultracker. When the drums are returned to the return point, the claim and the related decision are immediately visible to invoicing.
